FAQs

Q: What are Wall Decal and Stickers made of?

A: Wall decals and stickers are made of a thin, flexible PVC vinyl material. They are extremely durable and are made to last for years, but are still flexible enough to be applied to a variety of surfaces. They contain no VOC's or pthalates.

With the exception of our Large Mural Decals, our products use a specially formulated adhesive that is designed to adhere to surfaces… without leaving behind a sticky residue or causing damage when removed. This special formula also allows our products to remain sticky over long periods of time, meaning they are fully reusable.

Q: Are the Wall Decals and Stickers safe for kids?

A: Absolutely! They are 100% non-toxic and fully CPSIA-compliant. You can feel safe with our products in your home.

Q: Will my decals/stickers work in the bathroom?

A: Yes, the bathroom is a great location for WallCandy.  Just don't put it right inside the shower.

Q: Will my decals/stickers stick to any wall in my house?

A: Our kids decals adheres to any clean, smooth surface without pretreatment. With wallpaper, textured and finished wood surfaces, test a sample first for effect...then go crazy!

Q: How do I save my decals/stickers once I've removed it from my wall?

A: Keeping the adhesive side free of debris when rearranging, and returning to the original silicone treated backing for storage, will help extend the long life of the product.

Q: Are my Big Murals Reusable and Repositionalable?

A: They are NOT reusable and repostionable. They are made of vinyl-coated, prepasted paper and each mural package includes a variety of large and small elements as described on the package insert. To Remove them, simply wet them well and peel them off. The glue is water-soluble.

Q: Where can I put Wallies Wallpaper Decals?

A: Wallies are perfect for walls, of course. But they also work great on furniture, clay or ceramic pots, picture frames, mirrow, window, lampshades, gift wrapping, bulletin boards, ceramic tile....the list is nearly endless. The only place you can't stick Wallies is on slick plastic surfaces. Wallies on ceramic tile should be located away from high-moisture areas, such as backsplashes on sinks.
